🎄✨ Deck the halls with safety in mind! While holiday decorating brings joy and festive cheer, it’s important to remember that emergency rooms see thousands of decorating-related injuries each season. Here are some tips from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to keep your celebrations accident-free: Keep toxic plants like mistletoe and holly berries out of reach of children. Ensure artificial trees are “fire resistant” and live trees are well-watered. Place trees away from heat sources and avoid blocking exits. Use indoor/outdoor lights appropriately and inspect them for damage. Follow package instructions for light sets and never overload sockets. Turn off all decorations when you leave or go to bed. For more tips, visit the National Safety Council's website: https://lnkd.in/epf3kqkK Stay safe and share these tips with friends and family! 🔔 #HolidaySafety #DecorateSafely

How You Can Help the Homeless This Winter? As the clocks go back and the nights grow longer and colder, the Single Homeless Project has shared some simple yet impactful ways to support homeless individuals in your community. Here are a few of their amazing suggestions: ☕ Pay It Forward: Many coffee shops offer a pay it forward scheme where you can purchase a coffee for someone in need later in the day. 🧥 Donate Your Old Coat: If you have any old coats or jackets you no longer use, consider donating them. These can be distributed to those in need. 🗣 Check-In: Being street homeless can be incredibly isolating. Taking a moment to check in on someone who is homeless can make a huge difference. 👁️🗨️ Street Link: If you see a homeless person over the age of 18, contact Street Link with an accurate description. Local outreach teams will then provide the necessary support. Please share this post and spread the word! Simple actions, when multiplied, can make a massive difference. Feel free to add any additional suggestions or personal touches. Thank you for encouraging others to get involved and make a positive impact! 🌟

It's time to cast your vote for the room you dread cleaning the most. Let's face it, we've all been there - scrubbing away at those stubborn stains or vacuuming up endless amounts of pet hair. But which room truly takes the cake? Is it the bathroom with its never-ending maintenance or the living room with its constant clutter? Or maybe it's the bedroom with its piles of laundry or the kitchen with dishes that seem to multiply overnight. Well, now is your chance to have your say! Comment below and let me know which room you despise cleaning the most. And don't be shy, we've all got our least favorite chores. Let's see which room comes out on top (or should I say bottom)! Don't forget to tag your fellow homeowners and let them join in on the vote. Let's have a little fun while we tackle our household duties! #VoteForYourLeastFavoriteRoom #HomeownerStruggles #CleaningWoes #RealEstate #austinrealestate #realestateaustin #realestateatx #hometips #realestatetips

Does your entry become a muddy mess after it rains? Strategically placing absorbent door mats and area rugs in the main entrances of the home will minimize what gets tracked into the house. If you have pets, keep a soft absorbent towel by the door as well to give their paws a quick wipe as they enter. #mudmanagement #householdtips #storagesolutions

When it comes to gift-giving, think tailored and thoughtful. It's not about things; it's about love and connection. 💡 Example: My friend Peggy planted Vinca in my yard—a gift of her time and care. Not everyone wants Vinca, but for me, it was perfect. 🌱 Consider what your loved ones would truly appreciate. Maybe it's a simple act of service like cleaning (I'd be thrilled if someone vacuumed my kitchen once a month! 🧹). This holiday season, give gifts that leave memories, not clutter. #mindfuldecluttering #declutter #decluttering #declutteryourlife #professionalorganizer
