Isle Royale is beautiful, remote, green. But it is generally not considered to be the best US national park. It's probably not even in most 'top 10' lists. But selectively choose unique criteria (and weighting?), as these authors have done, and you can make the argument. You can even 'put numbers to it' so that it looks more convincing. Solving complex problems and determining the best course of action often requires the use of multiple criteria. I like using 'must have' and 'nice-to-have' criteria based on the strategy. I also like to give weights to criteria. Ever work on #supplychain network optimization projects? You've probably used this type of approach. It's important to communicate your methodology to key decision makers and stakeholders, especially when the recommendation may not be what they were expecting to hear. So yeah, have a back-up slide with this info. Photo in first comment... Left: hiking in one of the least crowded NPs - Isle Royale. You can hike hours without seeing another person and it is off-the grid (no cell service). Right: hiking in one of the most crowded NPs - Grand Canyon. But it is very uncrowded if you hike down into the canyon.
