Last week, we hosted our final Perspectives event of 2024. We explored what changing customer behaviour means for the future of our industry. What was clear is that IPMI is entering a new era, driven by customers who are more informed, proactive, and demanding than ever. And this is reshaping how we deliver care. Here are three important takeaways from the event: • Customers want healthcare that’s personalised, digital, and “always on” • There’s a clear shift from reactive care to proactive wellness. This has driven a 67% increase in total claims since 2021 and reshaped how customers engage with their healthcare benefits • At @Bupa Global, we’re responding by investing in new technologies, expanding our clinical teams, and enhancing digital tools like the Blua health app, to deliver seamless, innovative care A big thank you to our host Carl Blake, and all our speakers for sharing valuable insights on how we can deliver against our customers’ evolving expectations.
