Plan to attend a local event this weekend and experience the joy of making a positive impact. 🌟 Research Local Events: Look up local community events happening this weekend, such as charity runs, festivals, or neighborhood clean-ups. Choose an event that resonates with you and mark it on your calendar. Prepare any necessary items or contributions you might need for the event. 🌟 Invite Friends and Family: Enhance your experience by inviting friends or family members to join you. This not only strengthens your personal relationships but also multiplies the positive impact on the community. Discuss the event details, coordinate plans, and enjoy the collective effort of giving back together. #CommunityInvolvement #WorkLifeBalance #FiredUpFriday #MiltonHunt

While anyone can individually and voluntarily participate in community service, companies can and should give back and try to reach out and help those who need a boost or a much-needed hand in our society. Businesses are irrevocably a part of the communities of their residence. Whether you decide to sponsor youth teams, support local organisations who are helping active addicts recover, or contribute to national health causes, giving back is both benevolent and responsible. Your company’s generosity can impact scientific breakthroughs, community health, or even life-or-death situations in your neighbourhood. All these initiatives, big and small, move New Zealand’s needle in a positive direction. Businesses that engage in charity can reap benefits that can also be tangible within the company. Aside from building a beautiful reputation and marketing the company name in philanthropic ways, being charitable fosters values of respect, camaraderie, and fulfilment among employees. Allow The Coach Company NZ to partner with you and transport you to your social engagement programs and help you give back to our communities. #charityevents #fundraisersNZ #coachhire #bushire #corporatetransportation

April marks Stress Awareness Month. The theme for 2024 is #LittleByLittle, which highlights the transformative impact of consistent, small positive actions on overall wellbeing. As many of you know, we support the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, so we want to take this opportunity to mention their self-support app. It’s the ultimate self-help tool and is aimed at those who would like more information about how they can help themselves or, if necessary, take the next step in seeking professional help. I contributed to a comment about charities & the third sector as we call it: “I despair that charities not only have to do what the public & private sectors have to do, they have to rely on volunteers as their workforce AND they then have to beg for funding - if we want a third sector to do what is needed then for gods sake give them the funding to be sustainable in a proper planned way - no other public or private organisation can do what they do with so little resource & planning” For further clarification I spent much of my working life in the third sector working for charities, managing volunteers, bringing change to organisations who rely on hundreds of volunteers, so I dont see the third sector as "different" to organisations in the other sectors. Further we have to accept that treatment and support for individuals going through mental or health wellbeing more than often have to rely on charities, so to me I see Leadership, Supplier, customer, employee relationships and COMMUNITY as my contribution to inclusivity. What do you think?
