As an individual passionate about personal and professional development, I find LinkedIn's Impact Summit 2024 to be an exciting opportunity for learning, networking, and inspiration. The idea of gathering global peers from diverse backgrounds, including organizations and non-profits, signifies a collaborative approach towards addressing societal and environmental challenges. One aspect that particularly resonates with me is the focus on fostering new ideas. Innovation often thrives in environments where different perspectives converge, and the summit seems to offer a platform for precisely that. It's inspiring to imagine the potential outcomes of such collaboration – from breakthrough solutions to lasting partnerships aimed at driving positive change. Moreover, the emphasis on learning from both organizations and non-profits is noteworthy. It acknowledges that impactful change can stem from various sectors and that there's value in exchanging insights and best practices across these boundaries. This inclusive approach reflects a holistic understanding of societal challenges and the importance of leveraging collective wisdom to address them effectively. Personally, I see the Impact Summit as an opportunity not only to gain knowledge and insights but also to contribute to meaningful discussions and initiatives. Whether it's sharing experiences from my own professional journey or engaging with others' perspectives, I believe there's immense potential for mutual growth and collaboration. In essence, LinkedIn's Impact Summit 2024 represents a convergence of ideas, networks, and aspirations aimed at catalyzing positive impact on a global scale. I'm excited to be a part of this collective effort towards building a more sustainable and inclusive future.

Major gifts fundraising is fundamentally a contact sport - it always has been. It may seem straightforward, but it carries a profound truth. In our increasingly digital world, it’s WAY too easy to rely on emails, social media, and marketing initiatives. As AI becomes ever more prevalent, people are craving crave real, human, authentic interactions. Face-to-face time is crucial for building genuine relationships and trust. When was the last time you connected with a donor over coffee or lunch? Valuable time spent together is the only way to understand our donors’ passions and motivations on a deeper level. Let’s commit to getting out there more—scheduling meetings, attending THEIR events, and making those personal visits happen. #CatholicEducation #Fundraising #DonorRelations #MajorGifts #Advancement Partners in Mission
