Water and moisture on building & pest reports. This can potentially lead to larger issues and can be particularly challenging as often the extent of work or repairs is not easy to initially see. Leaky pipes, holes in the roof, drainage issues and blocked drains can be common problems. Areas of high moisture reading on a thermal gun should also raise your interest. Repairs can range from a basic regrout or mega seal to ripping out the bathroom and starting again or excavation and replacement of underground pipes. A good first step may be to call in a plumber for further quotes during the conditional phase of the contract. It may also play into your favour in older homes when you were already planning on renovations to boost equity. #brisbanebuyersagent #propertyinvesting

3 Indicators It Is Time To Repipe Your Home Repiping is a plumbing service that replaces outdated and failing plumbing with new, durable, long-lasting pipes to restore your plumbing system to its original state. There are many reasons to consider repiping, including the following three. !. Exterior Pipe Abrasion: Many of us are clear on interior pipe damage from pipe corrosion and rusting, but outdoor corrosion often remains a mystery. If soil is wet and acidic, the exterior of the pipes can degrade and fail, leading to a possible repiping. 2. Shifting Soil: Shifting soil can loosen pipe joints due to earthquake activity or nearby construction, permitting dirt and debris to enter. These accumulations lead to clogs, leaking, and excessive wear and tear on pipe interiors, requiring replacement. 3. Frequent Service Calls: While every homeowner should expect an occasional call for service if the calls become routine, it is probably time to discuss repiping. We are the plumber Vista residents trust to lead them through repiping. We are experts in this field and will provide outstanding results. Please pick up the phone and give us a call! #Repiping #VistaRepiping #VistaPlumber

Building reports can identify a wide range of issues. We thought we would share some of the common things we see:- Water Damage: Can significantly affect a building’s structural integrity, causing wood to rot and damaging walls and foundations. Poor Ventilation: Possibly cause damage to the structure and potentially affect the air quality. Sloping Grounds Around the Property: If the surrounding property of the house slopes towards the building structure, it could cause dampness in the foundation or settlement cracks. Roof Issues: Damage to roof tiles and shingles often occurs due to strong winds and storms. Structural Issues: Structural defects, including foundation cracks, uneven floors, and compromised roofing, can be costly to repair and pose serious safety risks. Electrical Problems: Outdated wiring, overloaded circuits, and safety hazards are common findings in home inspections. Plumbing Complications: Plumbing issues range from leaky faucets to severe pipe damage. Pest Infestations: Pests, particularly termites, can wreak havoc on a home’s structure. Poor Insulation and Ventilation: Poor insulation and ventilation can lead to higher energy costs and discomfort. DIY Renovations Gone Wrong: DIY renovations can sometimes lead to more harm than good if not done correctly. Remember, these issues can be identified and addressed early with regular inspections. It’s always better to catch potential problems early before they become major issues.
