After 1,263,181 meetings (okay, maybe not that many) and days of creative work on campus, the AQI had other plans—a day before the event, we had to move everything online! 🌫️ But did that stop us? Not a chance. 🚀 As the Event Head for Markopolis’24 Competition, MAC’s biannual event, I had the pleasure of working with an amazing team of seniors and peers. From brainstorming late into the night to pitching every tiny detail to the core team, every moment was filled with hard work, laughter, and creativity. One of the highlights? Coming up with a courtroom-themed competition featuring a backdrop that read “AAPKI ADALAT.” It gave everyone a good laugh and reminded us how fun the process can be. PS: Organizing a competition takes a lot of effort behind the scenes, and while it often goes unnoticed, it’s what makes an event truly successful. This year’s Markopolis’24 wasn’t just an event; it was proof of our resilience, creativity, and teamwork. 🌟 And the biggest lesson we took away? 💡 AQI may rise, but so do we. 💡 Here’s to more learning, laughter, and adaptability in the exciting world of marketing! #MarketingClub #Markopolis24 #Teamwork #Creativity #ResilienceInMarketing

🎉 SnapIT! X African Night event collaboration! 🎉 We had an amazing time setting up a photo booth at African Night event at The University of New Mexico, and this time, everything came together perfectly. From the setup to the crowd’s enthusiasm, it was a huge success! 😊 In our first event, we learned that simply printing a user guide and taping it to the wall wasn’t enough—people didn’t realize it was a photo booth! Even when others were taking pictures, people just thought they were taking selfies. 😅 Our second collaboration with a gimbap restaurant was challenging as well. We didn’t have enough space to properly advertise it as a photo booth, and it was awkward asking customers who were just there to buy food to take pictures on the spot. Though, many people still had fun with it! For African Night, I applied all the lessons learned. I printed a big sign for the photo booth, displayed the special frame on a laptop, and set up user guides in sign holders. Also, the host of the event kindly prepared a photo wall. The party atmosphere also worked in our favor, as people were already dressed up and excited to take pictures. Most attendees wanted to use the special frame for their photos! This event matched perfectly with the vibe of SnapIT!. I’m proud of the growth we’ve made through each collaboration. As a member of EFfCI - The European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients RAPS working group, this was the first time I attended a presential meeting, I already knew some of the colleagues from the annual conferences, but it was great to have the opportunity to interact in a smaller space, full of #regulatoryexperts from all over Europe! Exciting to see what 2025 is bringing to us in the #cosmeticindustry with so many things going on in the background, I can only say that we’re facing loads of challenges, which makes our work as regulators and safety assessors more “exciting” (depending on interpretations) 😁 #cosmeticsingredients #weareeffci #workinggroups #raps

After moving to New York just five months ago and throwing a series of events on a $0 budget. I’m beyond excited to share that Red Bull is officially sponsoring my 30 for 30 Eventathon! This project will bring together the best across multiple industries, from music and tech to art and culture. Each day will feature a unique event, redefining what it means to connect and collaborate in this city. Events have truly changed my life especially the ones of us at The AI Furnace 🧨🔥 It all started with Tapped Mixer, a single event that gained so much momentum, we turned it into a monthly series. After throwing some of the biggest events earlier this year at Fashion Week and TECH WEEK by a16z I knew it was time to take things to the next level. That’s when I launched my own version of SXSW in NYC, known as NY Creator Week. We threw 8+ events and sold 1,000+ tickets with zero sponsors and a $0 marketing budget. The success of Creator Week gave me the confidence to expand even further, pushing the boundaries to create a full month of events through the 30 for 30 Eventathon. What makes this journey even more meaningful is that I’ve done most of it independently, driven by a belief in grassroots marketing and building community. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue creating spaces where people can connect, collaborate, and thrive. After this month they can’t argue the noise we’ve made. OMR 2024: Was it »worth it« as a Founder? 🧐 OMR is over and once again they managed to turn Hamburg upside down for two consecutive days. But there has probably never been a year where opinions have been so mixed about whether attending the event is worth it or not. As a founder you have to carefully think about how to spend your time, and sometimes it’s worth it to invest time in things that don’t have an immediate tangible business effect. For me, the event is all about personal interactions. ✅ Seeing as many business partners as possible. ✅ Connecting with new people. ✅ Having a good time with friends. OMR had all of the above, so it was definitely worth attending for me. Another fun thing this year has been the side-events. There were a lot of pre-event activities, after-shows and community meetings which gave all of us more chances to connect. It was great having exciting conversations and meeting new people.
