No Veteran in this country should be homeless. No Veteran should be without Healthcare. The citizens owe those that volunteer to serve. If we are unwilling to do so, then all citizens should have to serve for 2yrs, male or female. A very small minority of our fellow citizens serve in our military. They should be paid better than civil servants. They should receive proper housing benefits, especially if they have a family. They should NEVER have to be on food stamps because their military pay does not cover their ability to put food on the table. I propose that all active duty military be given a food allowance. They should be trained in a military job as well as a position that will allow them to transition to the civilian sector while they serve. I propose that would assist in decreasing the joblessness and homelessness in the Veteran population.

We talk about the importance of recognizing the sacrifices made by veterans, not just their service. As a fellow veteran, the speaker acknowledges that veterans sacrifice more than they serve, including time away from their families, their physical and mental well-being. The speaker also extends gratitude to the spouses and family members of veterans for their sacrifices. #VeteransDay #MilitaryService #Sacrifice #FamilySupport

Part 5 1. Require any congressionally chartered Veteran Service Organization to disclose their major donors so veterans and the American people know who they represent when they testify before Congress. These policy transformations are vital. While there will be many discussions and deliberations along the way, we can improve the lives of veterans so long as everyone agrees that changes are needed. This is just the beginning, and many more changes will be required. But the biggest change remains the most difficult: it is imperative that we change the narrative to remind Americans that not all veterans are broken, disabled, and needy. In fact, veterans' deeds and actions demonstrate that they are not only a vital population of our nation but also flourishing leaders in our communities and continue to serve long after they leave the military.
