🎥 I’m thrilled to announce that Enrollify has launched its first-ever video series, and there’s no one better to help us kick it off than Carrie Phillips, Ed.D.! Failure is a tough pill to swallow, especially when you’re putting yourself out there in social media for the world to see. As marketers, we often face an incredible amount of pressure—and I’m guilty of holding myself to extremely high standards (probably too high at times). When things don’t go as planned, it’s hard not to feel the sting of failure. But here’s what I’ve come to realize: failure is not the opposite of success; it’s a part of it. Every stumble is a step toward growth, and embracing those hard moments is where the real learning happens. Social media marketing is one of the most visible areas of the field, and with visibility comes vulnerability. It’s easy to play it safe, to stick to tried-and-true methods, but that’s not where innovation lives. The real breakthrough comes when you push past the fear of failure. When you take that leap, you might fall, but you’ll also learn what works and what doesn’t. And sometimes, the bold moves that don’t pay off immediately set the stage for future success. It’s a journey of trial and error, but without the risk, there’s no reward. Reflecting on this, I’ve learned that growth comes not from avoiding mistakes, but from embracing them, analyzing them, and using them to fuel the next bold step. It’s easier said than done (especially from an Enneagram 3!), but I can tell you—it’s worth it in the long run. Through this journey, you have to advocate for yourself and be your biggest cheerleader.
