Empowering people to make homes better

I learned a lot the other week when I moderated Ross M., Bill Shadid, and Shane Shubert while discussing Envelope Sealing with an Automated, Blower Door Directed Technology. If you missed this GreenHome Institute CEU session or want to re watch or share it you can do so now here. Based on the survey results, it seems that people have learned a lot about the Aeroseal technology and its application in air sealing building envelopes. Many found the video explanation of the blower door technology to be informative. Additionally, people were surprised by the effectiveness of the Aeroseal product and its ability to seal a home after construction is completed. Some questions that still remain include the best stage to call in the Aeroseal crew, the effectiveness of the application, the importance of properly sealing openings in the home, and the potential applications beyond single-family and multifamily homes. Overall, there seems to be a lot of interest in the technology and its potential benefits for energy efficiency and comfort. Will you help share this so others can learn too and we can make the places we live, BETTER?
