Muslims are so eager to pay premium when it comes to "global" brands. But when it comes to fellow muslim startups - somehow there's this notion that they have to fight for the lowest price possible "because it's sunnah to bargain bro". Indeed, it is sunnah to bargain, but not in the environment where muslim entrepreneurship is on the brink of extinction, and founders are barely scraping for survival. Just because it's a muslim brand - we want to be extra critical. The expectation of quality rises through the roof. Where's our wisdom and muslim solidarity? Next time you see a fellow brother doing something for the ummah - pay 120% of the price and encourage the intention. You don't even realize how much it means for an enterpreneur.
“Brother, can I get a discount I’m Muslim” “Brother, can I get a discount we’re from the same country” “Sister, can I get a discount we go to the same masjid” One thing I think we can all improve on in the Muslim community, is the expectation of getting a discount (aka “mate’s rates”) when dealing with your fellow brother and sister. Why do we even have this expectation? You should be keen to pay in full and be generous with your fellow Muslim. Be generous with others and watch how the blessings in your life multiply. In fact, did you know that an ignorant generous person is more beloved to Allah than a stingy scholar?! “The generous one is near to Allah, near to Paradise, near to the people, and far from the Hellfire. The miserly one is far from Allah, far from Paradise, far from the people, and near to the Hellfire. An ignorant generous person is more beloved to Allah Almighty than a stingy scholar.” – Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

What does Bismillah mean? When one says “Bismillah” before starting to do anything, what that means is, “I start this action accompanied by the name of Allah or seeking help through the name of Allah, seeking blessing thereby. Allah is God, the beloved and worshipped, to Whom hearts turn in love, veneration and obedience (worship). He is al-Rahman (the Most Gracious) Whose attribute is vast mercy; and al-Rahim (the Most Merciful) Who causes that mercy to reach His creation. Read more at: https://lnkd.in/duYRZpQd

Trust the Process & Keep Your Faith In a world that often demands proof of our intentions, remember: it’s not necessary for others to always understand or trust your journey. If your intentions are pure and your goals are clear, you’re already on the right path. Trust Allah’s plan and focus on nurturing your inner drive, hard work, and dua (prayers). You might face setbacks, or people may choose to leave. Let them go. In sha Allah the persons who leave you may join you again under different circumstances. Stay consistent, stay patient, and keep building toward your vision. Allah rewards for both worlds the blessings we seek here and the greater rewards in the hereafter. What are some ways you stay grounded in your goals? Share your insights below. #Faith #Goals #TrustTheProcess

"And We created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone)." (Quran, 51:56) This verse emphasizes the purpose of human existence: to worship and serve Allah. It highlights the importance of recognizing Allah's oneness and submitting to His will. This worship can manifest in various forms, including prayer, reflection, acts of kindness, and living a life guided by moral and ethical principles. This verse serves as a reminder that life is not merely about material pursuits or fleeting pleasures. It is about striving for a deeper connection with the divine and living a life of purpose and meaning.

إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ Are our daily actions really acts of worship? There’s a big disconnect in our logic and our actions. We want to be successful but are not pulling the strings today that will produce the melody of success tomorrow. The broader outcome reflects the details of our daily choices. Broadly, as Muslims, we seek Allah’s pleasure but completely disregard our daily choices. We forget to infuse the intention of pleasing Allah to our actions. In this terribly busy and distracting daily life, we can divert our default subconcious decision-making to conciously choosing Allah and his pleasure. By attributing work and acts of kindness to Allah’s pleasure, these actions become worship and bring fulfillment. #muslim #muslimmotivation #Intention #DailyActions #ActsOfWorship #IntentionMatters #SuccessMindset #ConsciousLiving #IslamicPrinciples #PleasingAllah #Fulfillment #PersonalGrowth #MuslimLifestyle #IntentionalLiving #PurposeDriven #DailyChoices #IslamicValues

An Opportunity for Reflection & Renewal! As we approach this blessed Friday, Let us take a moment to pause and reflect. A Reminder: → "Indeed, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest." (Quran 13:28) → Let today be a chance to reconnect with our purpose. → Seek peace in Allah's guidance and let it strengthen you. Gratitude: → Look around and count the blessings, no matter how small → Gratitude brings us closer to Allah and opens doors to even more blessings. Service: → As we are reminded on this day, our best deeds are those done for others. → Who can you uplift today? Small acts of kindness leave a lasting impact. Renewal: → Jummah is a day of renewal, renew your faith, intentions, and spirit → Let go of what burdens you, and seek Allah’s mercy with an open heart May your Jummah be full of peace, blessings, and renewed faith. #JumaMubarak #ReflectionDay #BeGrateful #BeInServiceToOthers

How to perform Dhikr with fingers, 33,33,34 on each hand One common and simple way to make Dhikr is to repeat the holy phrases, “Subhanallah,” (glory be to God) “Alhumdullah,” (praise God) and “Allahuakbar,” (god is the greatest). If you want to say Dhikr 100 times, you can say Subhanallah 33 times, Alhumdullah 33 times, and Allahu Akbar 34 times. Use your thumb and index finger. Each finger can be used to count three times. For example, use your thumb 1 2 3 and then your index finger for your thumb 1 2 3. Recite invocations 3 times per finger. After completing a session of dhikr (remembrance of Allah), it is common to conclude with a short supplication (prayer) asking for specific needs, such as forgiveness, guidance, protection, or blessings, depending on what you focused on during your dhikr; you can also simply say "Ameen" (Amen) to affirm your acceptance of the prayer you just recited.
