Ah...Mental Health Week has come to an end, so I guess it's back to ignoring our mental well-being until next year, right? 🙄 But wait, before you switch off that empathy button, let's pause for a moment. Sure, it's fantastic that we dedicate a week to mental health awareness, but shouldn't every week be mental health week? Let's challenge ourselves to go beyond the designated dates and make caring for each other's minds a year round commitment. So let's try not just talking the talk for a week, but walking the walk every single day. Let's keep those conversations going, extend a helping hand, and show genuine care for one another's well-being. Because in the end, it's not just about raising awareness; it's about creating a culture of compassion and support. Let's make every week Mental Health Week. 💙 #Brainfood #MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheStigma #SelfCare #MentalHealthMatters #BeKindToYourMind #KeepTalkingMH #StrongerTogether #MentalHealthMatters

Today kicks off an important week…Mental Health Awareness Week. And this year, the focus is on ‘Movement’. This topic is so important, and we are thrilled that people are starting to understand it more. This week is an opportunity to get people to talk about their feelings, not just on the surface but deep down inside. Are they struggling? Is everyday life proving challenging to face? Mental health concerns can manifest in many ways, and it is different for every single one of us. mentalhealth.org.uk states the following: ‘Movement is important for our mental health. But so many of us struggle to move enough. We know there are many different reasons for this, so this Mental Health Awareness Week, we want to help people find moments for movement in their daily routines. Going for a walk in your neighbourhood, listening to your favourite music, dancing around the living room, and doing chair exercises when you’re watching television all count!’ Let’s all get talking more. Tell others how you are feeling; ask how they are feeling. Trust us when we say the sense of relief when you open up is life-changing. #mentalhealthawarenessweek #mentalhealthmatters #youmatter #selfcare #mentalhealth #ely #takesometimeout #selflove #healthyliving

🩵Today is the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Week, with this year's theme being "Find Your Moments for Movement." As someone who has hit the depths of anxiety, with very few people around me who ‘got it’ and who I could talk to, I understand firsthand the importance of finding those moments to move, both physically and mentally. It's crucial that we create spaces where mental health isn't stigmatised, but instead, openly discussed and empathetically supported. Let's use this week as a reminder to check in on our colleagues, friends, and loved ones. Sometimes, the simple act of reaching out and asking, "How are you, really?" can make all the difference. Let's make workplaces and communities where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #EndTheStigma 💙
