Talked with a friend yesterday who's facing an impossible choice: uproot his family and move to another state or lose his job. No promotion. No new opportunity. Just a mandate to return to the office. It struck me how many talented people face this impossible choice. Pull kids out of schools where they're thriving. Move away from aging parents who need them. Leave communities they've spent decades building. Twenty years of roots in their community. All at risk because of an arbitrary policy. As I listened to him, I couldn't help but think about why I started Quickly Hire. Talent shouldn't be confined by geography. Building a company means finding the best people who align with your vision - not the best people within a 30-mile radius of your office. I've seen incredible professionals juggling career ambitions with family responsibilities. They're not asking for special treatment. They're asking for trust and flexibility. That's why we built a platform where location never stands in the way of opportunity. Sometimes the best person for your team is taking care of aging parents in Minnesota. Or has kids in school in Texas. Or simply loves their life in Spain. And that's exactly how it should be.
Absolutely right on buddy!

1moTrue. My mom is 79, still doing good, but I'd hate to move away from her at this point. Also, getting to see my nephew and nieces grow in life. One has two kids now, waiting for nephew to marry this sweet girl he's been dating. Got to see them all graduate HS and my niece graduate college. You don't want to miss those memories.
