The successful completion of its major investment programme has positioned FUCHS LUBRICANTS SA well for 2025 and “has significantly increased our growth potential,” comments #MD #PaulDeppe. The project saw a significant #Upgrade of FUCHS’ production facilities. “We have completed an expansion to our #LubricantsPlant that increases our capacity by 40%,” reveals Deppe. It includes a new tank farm with modern blending facilities, a high degree of automation, and new filling equipment. Ad van Genderen, (SBZ Corporations Product Manager) was delighted to give a talk today, at this year’s Benelux Congress on the broad topic of ‘The Development of Engine Oil Additives’. Ad has worked voluntarily for the last ten years on the Technical and Competition Committee (TCC) of the UEIL and seven years as editor of the lube magazine ‘SmeerOlieKroniek’ of the VSN. The Benelux Lubricating Oil Congress is organized annually together with the Belgian sister organization LAB. An inspiring day, intended for everyone who is active in Belgium and the Netherlands in the research and development of lubricants, or in the production or sale of lubricants. The Netherlands Lubricating Oil Companies Association (VSN) was founded in 1952. Over the past seventy years, the VSN has grown into a contemporary sector organization. The VSN represents the interests of producers and (wholesale) traders in lubricating oils and fats. Members are companies that manufacture, import, export, and/or trade lubricating oils and greases. They are large, medium, and small companies, which together account for more than 90% of the domestic consumption of lubricants.
