Lots of thought went into naming BOUND. Really, it came down to a couple of conflicting definitions. BOUND (the noun) is a "leaping movement upward". BOUND (the verb) is to "walk or run with leaping strides". Generally positive! However, BOUND also has these definitions --> BOUND (the noun) is a limiting value, or a limitation or restriction on feeling or action. BOUND (the verb) is to place within certain limits, or restrict. YIKES! We are the organization that helps individuals go from one definition of BOUND to another. These are the creative ways our team works to help children and teens, address fear, anxiety, and other emotions. These emotions are mirrored during grief and loss of a loved one. Learning how to regulate and express yourself during stressful times, helps give children and teens some healthy tools when deep emotions emerge in the waves of grief and loss.
