This week Krystal G. Garcia and I had the opportunity to attend the launch of Mayor Michelle Wu and the City of Boston's Office of Housing Boston Acquisition Fund - an innovative and exciting public-private partnership aimed at preserving homes at risk of displacement and supporting housing stability for residents in Boston. Residents and community leaders have consistently identified access to affordable, safe housing as a key priority for healthier communities in the Boston Community Health Collaborative coordinated Community Health Needs Assessment process. Very inspiring to see Boston Community Health Collaborative partner hospitals and health systems working across sectors to support community priorities as inaugural partners in this initiative!
