We are excited to share that a group of generous BMC donors is matching donations to BMC! That means your donation of any amount doubles for BMC patients like Gerard (pictured left with BMC psychologist Shamaila Khan, PhD). Donate: https://bit.ly/3ZWOElE After an extreme anxiety episode on his way to a family wedding, Gerard found his way to BMC where he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Before getting the right diagnosis, Gerard tried hard to keep things together on his own. Starting medication and weekly talk therapy at BMC was a critical turning point. All healthcare, including mental health support, is vital. Help more Bostonians access leading mental healthcare and other services with a donation to BMC.

The battle against Alzheimer's and other dementia-related diseases is incredibly personal to me, having recently lost both my grandad and grandpa to them. To honor their memory and contribute to the fight, I've committed to running the AJ Bell Manchester 10K for Alzheimer's Society. This isn't just about the run; it's about making every step count towards a future where Alzheimer's and dementia no longer steal our loved ones from us. To make this vision a reality, I need your support. I've set up a fundraising page where you can donate, and every penny raised will go directly towards research and support services for those affected by Alzheimer's and dementia. No amount is too small, and your generosity can make a huge difference in this fight. If you can't donate at this time, please don't underestimate the power of sharing. By sharing this post, you're helping to spread the word and increase the reach of fundraising efforts, which is just as valuable. Please consider donating through the link below. Together, we can make a significant impact. Thank you for your support, kindness, and for being part of this journey with me. Let's run towards a cure, one step at a time. #AlzheimersAwareness #DementiaSupport #Manchester10K #RunningForACause #TogetherWeCan --- https://lnkd.in/ehZi25MS

Dementia in Canada is more than a health issue—it’s a nationwide crisis impacting communities, caregivers and those we love. Today, more than 700,000 Canadians are living with dementia, and by 2030, that number is expected to reach over 1 million. Behind each statistic are care partners who dedicate countless hours, energy, and compassion to support their loved ones. In fact, care partners provide an estimated 1.3 billion hours of unpaid care annually, often at a personal and financial cost. At CLEAR, we believe in the power of research to drive change. That’s why as a proud member of the Foundation's Board of Directors; I am thrilled to announce our year-end fundraising campaign with a 2X match opportunity for all donations up to $50,000 from now until December 31st. This is a critical moment to advance the science that gives hope to people facing Alzheimer's disease and related dementias and their families. Your gift today means double the resources, double the research, and double the support for a future free from the devastating effects of this disease. Donate now and make twice the difference. Together, we can drive change. #DementiaResearch #Caregivers #EndAlzheimers #DementiaAwareness #MemoryLoss #SupportScience #BrainHealth #Aging
