What does true partnership mean to me? 🤝🏼 It’s not just a word or a simple exchange of clients. It’s much more. True partnership is about sharing ideas, tackling business challenges side by side, and always finding the best way forward—together. It’s about supporting each other, brainstorming late into the night, and pushing the boundaries of innovation. I’m incredibly grateful and fortunate to have found such an amazing partner in Anita Suska. 🛤 I remember when I first met Anita. We started as client and service provider —DizArm was tasked with developing our branding at ClipSwift. It was a pivotal moment for us, and choosing DizArm was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Anita didn’t just deliver exceptional branding, she brought something far more valuable to the table — a true partnership. We weren’t just exchanging services, we were exchanging visions, ideas, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Today, the CEO of DizArm is not just a vendor to us but a true partner I’m honored to work with. Anita and her team are not just vendors — they’re true partners in our journey. And I’m happy to work with someone who’s as invested in our success as we are. Thank you, DizArm and Anita Suska, for all your help, advice, and of course, the incredible branding! 🦾 Here’s to many more milestones ahead — together. #partnerships #entrepreneurship #leadership

How does something last for 25 years? ... and still hoppin'? I was asked this last week after celebrating our 25th anniversary for an organization I co-founded and still lead today. At least for my ventures, it's all about #culture. Culture is directly related to #leadership, yet it is always co-created. I didn't know this at 19 when I started my first #business. Now...30 years later and I can reflect on it a bit. There are two components here. First is Leadership. Many of us have learned about the importance of values. For me, there is one value that supercedes all. It's the one that removes me as the main X-factor of an equation - To be of service to others. - Making a measurably positive impact on others. This sets things up for the second element which is... ... co-creation. To truly be of service to others means... ... I need to step aside for... ... our other team members to shine, share and run with ideas... ... and find the best ways to better the lives of those around us and who we serve. But here is the FULL IMPACT of Co-creation. All members feel valued. They feel and know they contributed to the final outcome. They feel immense growth. They feel alive. And that attracts talent ... ... that is not only most aligned with your organization ... ... but also genuinely excited to be part of the co-creation. In this picture, sure, I stepped up to speak for a bit, but while my co-founder spoke, I stepped back to join the team. It was my way of saying we are all equals. #entrepreneurship #founders

Today, I get to share an exciting professional milestone! Throughout my career, I've set goals—some I've achieved and others I've missed. I'm human, just like you! But today, I’m thrilled to share a major accolade: I’ve been chosen to present at our annual Palooza event, speaking in front of hundreds of my esteemed peers. Honored doesn’t even begin to cover it. My excitement is sky-high, and my gratitude knows no bounds. Entrepreneurial endeavors—whether private, brick-and-mortar, or direct sales—are powerful vehicles for personal and professional growth. They challenge us, push us beyond our comfort zones, and offer incredible opportunities for development. At Palooza, I'll be discussing how meaningful connections can elevate personal businesses and unlock new potential. This is a topic close to my heart, as I've always valued building genuine relationships and pairing that with my unwavering optimism. I’m ready to ignite Palooza alongside an incredible lineup of colleagues and share insights on how to harness these opportunities for growth. If you’re interested in exploring how entrepreneurial ventures can drive your personal and professional growth, let’s connect and start a conversation. #ProfessionalGrowth #Entrepreneurship #Leadership #Networking #Palooza2024 LimeLife by Alcone

✨ I love this picture... (They’re going to kill me for sharing it! 😅) 💼 What does it cost to be the CEO? It’s easy to say it costs *everything*, but truthfully, it’s a price I’m willing to pay. In this photo, you see my amazing COO, Bronston Carroll, MA, and my incredible CPO (and wife), Lauren K. Janney. They’re completely *passed out* after a long, messy day. Meanwhile, here I am, still working on what’s next. 💡 Why? Because as CEO, it’s my responsibility to guide this company forward. It’s my *sword to fall on*. That doesn’t mean I won’t hold others accountable—but I also recognize the value in accepting responsibility over simply pointing fingers. Leadership comes with immense cost, but I’m beyond grateful to do it alongside people I trust without question. 🙏 👉 Being at the top isn’t the pyramid many imagine—it’s more like being at the *bottom*, holding the weight of the company while the incredible team above me does the hard work of growing the business. 💪 Late nights. Early mornings. Checking the banks. Talking to investors. Redefining what makes a “great day.” Seeking new ways to improve. Every. Single. Day. This is the grind, the grit, and the purpose that keeps leaders moving forward. To me, **success** isn’t just about numbers—it’s about doing something great with people you admire. These two, Bronston Carroll, MA and Lauren K. Janney, guide me as much as I guide them. Without them, Magazine Jukebox wouldn’t be where it is today. 💡 The cost of a CEO is measured more in passion than in dollars.💡 So, keep growing, keep pushing, and keep focusing on the *culture* you’re building. When I see these two completely exhausted, it’s clear that our culture is about reaching success *together*, without fear—because we’ve got each other’s backs. #Leadership #CEOlife #StartupJourney #BusinessGrowth #Teamwork #Entrepreneurship #CompanyCulture #Gratitude #Passion #KeepGrowing #LeadershipMindset #MagazineJukebox

Let’s talk about people. When you’re around like-minded individuals (like those who compete in the Rebelle Rally) who inspire and challenge you, it amplifies your energy and potential. You’re not just leveling up for yourself—you’re elevating the entire group. As someone who has built, scaled, and exited a company, I’ve learned firsthand how important it is to surround yourself with the right people and the right systems. Building a high-performing business is not just about hard work; it’s about the right work. I now coach Founders on accelerating their company's growth by streamlining operations, setting clear performance targets, and creating accountability structures that drive results. But it’s not just about the business—it’s about YOU, the Founder. Entrepreneurship can be all-consuming, and it’s easy to get caught up in the grind. That's why I also work with Founders to find balance, create space for themselves, and achieve the financial freedom that comes with scaling your company—without burning out. Building a thriving business starts with building the right community and systems around you. When you have the right people, processes, and accountability in place, everything becomes more focused and effective, giving you the freedom to grow—and live—on your terms. If you’re a Founder looking to scale with purpose, find balance, and unlock greater performance, let's talk. Together, we can design the path to your next level of success. Somehow, we blinked and it’s 2025. (Does anyone else feel like last year went so fast?) As a business owner, this is an important time of the year to set yourself up for success. Over the next few posts, I’m breaking down actionable steps to crush Q1 and set your business up for long-term wins. So, where should you begin? Step 1: Build a strong company culture. Here’s the truth: even the best strategies fall flat without a solid team to execute them. A few ways to make it happen: 👉 Set clear expectations upfront (confusion kills productivity). 👉 Hold intentional team meetings (based on your team’s actual needs). 👉 Give timely feedback—whether it’s redirecting or reinforcing. These might seem like small things but when put together, they can go a long way in creating a positive company culture. What’s one thing you’re doing to improve your company culture this year? #smallbusiness #success #entrepreneurship #business #future

In my journey as an entrepreneur and working with the incredible team at Flock, one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that real magic in team management happens when we embrace individuality, rather than trying to fit everyone into the same mold. At Flock, I’ve seen firsthand how celebrating each team member’s unique strengths and perspectives has led to some of our most innovative solutions. When we lean into these differences, creativity flourishes, and the team becomes more dynamic and collaborative. Instead of forcing everyone to fit the same mold, try this: 👉 Lean into those differences. 👉 Allow team members to shine in areas where they naturally excel. 👉 Give them autonomy to solve problems in their way. By creating space for individuality, you unlock fresh perspectives, inspire creativity, and build a more agile and innovative team. For me, giving team members the freedom to tackle challenges their way has often led to solutions I’d never have imagined. #TeamManagement #Leadership #Entrepreneurship #InnovationInTeams #EmbraceIndividuality

I had such a lovely time visiting my friend Stacy Green and other leaders at Sony Pictures Entertainment to hear from none other than the Shark Tank legend Mark Cuban and Keith Le Goy, Sony’s Chairman of Networks & Distribution. Mark shared many powerful insights on the undeniable business advantages of diversity and inclusion. What stood out to me most was this truth: When drafting players for the Mavericks or finding the best fit for your organization, what matters most is if they have the talent to compete. It’s prioritizing how the individual skills contribute to the collective group above all else. #Entrepreneurship

I was speaking to a director who said," Every person's life is a novel. While some are narrated in the way it's remembered others are just lost in the clatter" And that's when I started thinking, while almost every company is built on the sweat & tears (sometimes blood) of the founder, why are only a few spoken about while the rest just becomes one with the sand? Is it the work Ethic? Is it the Resource Availability? Is it the network they build? Is it the ability to tell their story in a way that resonates? As I reflected on this, it became clear: the companies that stand out are the ones that connect—emotionally, strategically, and authentically—with their audience. Your story, your values, and your mission are the lifeblood of your brand. But if they're not communicated effectively, they risk being buried under the noise. In today's world, it's not just about what you do, but how you make people feel about what you do. The ability to narrate your journey, struggles, and triumphs in a way that captivates and inspires is what transforms a company from just another name into a legacy. So, here’s my question to you: Is your company’s story being heard? Or is it lost in the clatter? Share your thoughts, your challenges, or even your successes in creating a brand that resonates—I’d love to hear your take! 👇 #Storytelling #Branding #Leadership #Entrepreneurship
