Luxury hotel guests expect more than a place to stay—they seek a lifestyle experience that resonates with how they want to live. This is why mixed-use developments, combining hotels with residential and retail spaces, are gaining momentum. Guests who value thoughtful design, curated amenities, and seamless functionality during their travels often look for the same qualities in their homes. The rise of branded residences underscores this connection, offering an opportunity to extend the luxury hospitality experience beyond the hotel stay. It’s fascinating to see how hospitality design can blur the lines between travel and home, creating environments where guests feel both inspired and at ease. Mixed-use developments are not just a trend—they’re shaping the future of how we experience luxury. 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐮𝐥𝐬𝐞 The Venice hotel market has experienced a significant surge in fundamentals post-pandemic. The upscale and luxury segments have recovered most of their pre-pandemic occupancy levels, with average rates increasing by 40%. However, hotel supply remains stagnant, and several properties show severe signs of aging. This gap between actual and potential performance has allowed some luxury brands to acquire and reflag iconic assets. Nevertheless, the market's barriers to entry remain formidable. Noteworthy transactions have been few in recent years, and greenfield developments are limited due to a lack of buildable land. Additionally, local authorities are trying to manage overtourism by restricting hotel conversions in the city center. Can Venice leverage its improved market fundamentals to revitalise and modernise its hotel offering? #HotelInvestment #TourismRecovery #Paris #MarketResearch #Hospitality HVS Europe

This is kind of old news now (six days old), but I think worth revisiting. First, unique hotel developer comes to #CaryNC for first #NorthCarolina #hotel. Second, the hotelier picks Fenton, which was/is being developed by Hines, one of the largest and best-regarded #realestate companies in the galaxy. What does this mean? Broad confidence in #NorthCarolinarealestate and in the state overall from those outside the state. And there are stories like this happening all over NC all the time. #realestatedevelopment #commercialrealestatedevelopment #CRE #commercialrealestate #capitalmarkets #RaleighNC #RaleighRealEstate #TriangleRealEstate #hospitality #hotels
