Remember folks…just because your enterprise maintains a private cloud, plus workloads in one or more public clouds doesn’t mean you have a hybrid cloud. You need at least two more building blocks to start making your hybrid cloud a reality: 1) A private, dedicated, secure, high-speed network that directly connects your private cloud to each of your public cloud environments. 2) A control plane facilitated by deep integration between dedicated, private cloud workload infrastructure and similar public cloud workload infrastructure so you can seamlessly move VM and container-based workloads back and forth as needed.
