Day 1 of AMPEAK 2024 has been a day of insights, learning and meeting many interesting people who have all been generous with their knowledge. Some key takeaways for me have been: 1. Consolidating risk models for different asset classes allows comparing investment options across the portfolio, even if the risk models have varying levels of maturity (Andrew Birch) 2. Data quality is key for value realisation from Digital Twins (Oscar Julian Plata) 3. Learning about how water assets are managed in Australia (the many council and water people I have talked with today) 4.
