For an old process of making salt that involves towers like these has been revived in air. Now the process dates back more than 1000 years, and it's proving to be a pretty big hit. We sent Alan Jenkins to take a closer look. Beside the waves and wind on the West Coast of Scotland and looking like something from a Gothic fairy tale, there's a tower of dead thorns. Yeah, here we go. And it's only when you're up close and inside. Ohh, wow. Look at this. You find out it's less fairy tale, more driven solution. But you can also see the trips coming down when it comes to sea salt production. But you didn't work that out. One person thought it was a nuclear bunker that we're building. So I think it's been a lot of people thought it's various different things.
In April, two adjacent cicada broods emerge from the ground. According to the University of Connecticut, cicada broods typically emerge together, but this year is unique. For the first time in over 200 years, both Brood XIX (appearing every 13 years) and Brood XIII (appearing every 17 years) will emerge simultaneously, leading to a season filled with high-pitched buzzing.
