𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. Today, during our All-Staff Forum, the spirit of Christmas was truly alive. Everyone came together to play Secret Santa, exchange thoughtful gifts, and share moments of laughter. The joy and excitement on everyone’s faces while unwrapping their surprises was heartwarming—a true celebration of connection and kindness. I don’t celebrate Christmas, but I’ve always valued what it means to those around me. Seeing my colleagues light up at the thought of family time, rest, or reconnection reminds me of how important these traditions are to them. For me, it’s not about the holiday itself—it’s about being there for the people I work with. Over the years, I’ve made it a point to support my colleagues during this time, whether it’s by taking on responsibilities, offering a listening ear, or simply being present when they needed it most. And in return, they’ve shown up for me in moments that mattered—during Ramadan, Eid, personal milestones, or when I simply needed a helping hand. It’s never been about keeping score. It’s about mutual respect, understanding, and care. That’s the beauty of a real team. It’s not transactional. It’s not about expecting something in return. It’s about showing up for each other, appreciating our differences, and building a culture of trust and support. We may not always share the same beliefs, but we can always share kindness. 𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: It’s not about who celebrates what—it’s about recognizing when someone needs support and offering it without hesitation. 𝐓𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: I hope this season brings you joy, love, and togetherness. 𝐓𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭: your efforts are seen and appreciated more than you know. 𝘏𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴, 𝘺’𝘢𝘭𝘭! A few of my team are Muslim. They don't celebrate Christmas. So, instead of taking Wednesday off like the rest of the team... They asked to work and save the holiday day for future. Of course, I said yes. I was online myself for a few hours too. We messaged throughout the day and jumped on a quick call when needed 🤝🏽 It worked for us. I had plenty of time for festive dinner & films with family🎄 (Roast chicken though - never turkey in our house!) But I was also there for my team when they needed me. Too many companies force everyone into the same box. Same hours. Same holidays. Same expectations. But different people have different needs. Not to mention beliefs, cultures and traditions. True inclusion means embracing these differences. It means doing what makes sense, not just what’s “normal” or “traditional” 🤷🏽♂ Agree? ♻ Repost to share with your network. - 🧡 And follow me, Simmy Dhillon, for daily motivation, inspiration and insight, as I scale the UK’s fastest growing food business.

A Holiday Message About Appreciation As we reflect on this season, we are reminded of a classic holiday story: the tale of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. At first, Rudolph's glowing nose set him apart and it was not always celebrated. But when a foggy Christmas Eve threatened to halt Santa's journey, it was Rudolph's unique talent that saved the day, guiding the sleigh and ensuring joy reached every corner of the world. This story is a reminder of the importance of recognising and valuing each team member's individuality and contributions. Just like Rudolph, each employee brings something unique to the table- whether they lead the way, support from behind the scenes, or go above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly. At Brownie Points we are proud to help organisations celebrate the exceptional qualities of every team member through tailored rewards and recognition programs. When your team feels recognised and appreciated, their engagement and productivity shine even brighter. We encourage you to take a moment to celebrate and elevate your team. Their efforts, big and small, make your success possible. And you make a difference here every day, and for that, we remain grateful. Wishing you a holiday season filled with warmth, wonder and the magic of the season and a New Year filled with growth, purpose & positivity. Today isn’t just about gifts, food, and festivities (though I’m definitely enjoying those too!). It’s a moment to pause and appreciate the journey we’ve had this year. If you’re like me, 2024 came with its fair share of highs, lows, and everything in between. But one thing is certain: every step taught us something valuable. Here’s what I’m grateful for this year: 1. The connections I’ve built here on LinkedIn. 2. The challenges that made me stronger. 3. The little wins that often go unnoticed but mean so much. As we celebrate Christmas today, I encourage you to take a few moments to reflect on your own wins—big or small. And if this year didn’t go as planned, guess what? We have another shot at greatness in 2025. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓? 𝑳𝒆𝒕’𝒔 𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔. #7dayscontentchallengewithfortuna #merrychristmas

🎄 5 Ways to Make This Christmas Count Both Personally and Professionally 1- Share the Gift of Gratitude At work or at home, take time to thank those who’ve made an impact on your journey this year. A heartfelt "thank you" can go a long way in strengthening bonds. 2-Connect with Your Team Host a small gathering or virtual event to celebrate accomplishments and build camaraderie. Strong teams are the foundation of success, and Christmas is the perfect time to reinforce that. 3-Reflect on the Year Use this season to review your achievements and set goals for the new year. Whether it’s a personal milestone or a career objective, clarity begins with reflection. 4-Give Back with Purpose Consider contributing to a cause aligned with your values or helping a colleague or community member in need. The joy of giving extends far beyond the holiday season. 5-Celebrate Balance Remember, rest is as important as work.
