We know everyone is excited for Holy Week. But also want to make sure you can relax safely, without leaving anything hanging at work! Take note of the following before you go: 1) Plan ahead - Delegate or finish your tasks before leaving. 2) Communicate - Notify your team and your boss beforehand, provide emergency numbers. But also set clear boundaries once you are out of the office. 3) Respect company policies - Follow the company's procedures re: leaves during religious holidays to avoid miscommunication. 4) Mind your deadlines - If you have looming deadlines, prioritize and communicate clearly with stakeholders. Try to wrap up as much as possible before going. 5) Safety first - Wherever you go, prioritize your health and follow safety protocols. You want you and your team safe when you get back. 6) Enjoy! - Ultimately Holy Week is a time to recharge, reflect, and spend time with your loved ones. Happy Easter egg hunting with family and friends with this fun schematic of Waste-To-Energy (WTE): A technology used the world over to use trash and make steam and electricity, recycle metals and use the residue to make roads. When you throw trash, if it’s not managed by #WTE it, its headed to a landfill. In a landfill, it rots or sits there forever making methane and polluting the atmosphere with methane and toxic gases and groundwater with metals for at least 100 years. Using #WTE, within an hour the trash has -generated energy to power a home, -separated metal to be recycled, -made residue that can be used to build roads (coming soon at Covanta Oahu). And while it’s fun to think there are tiny people running around making a #WTE plant run, this is a superbly advanced engineered tech designed and operated by smart people I get to work with.
