yesterday on "tudum" I found a new release called "unfrosted - the story of an American snack" and I must say that I really enjoyed it. Between blockbusters that are all the same and true stories that become boring fiction, I found myself inside a parodic comedy, filled with pop culture and references to that American society, which straddles well-being (between two great wars) and avid consumerism with not even so many references hidden from modern news events such as the assault on Capitol Hill, above all it is a film that talks about how real marketing is studied, conceived and designed to attract the consumer. I don't want to give spoilers but between super recognizable mascots and cameos from alleged advertisers there is the highest point of how the consumer can really decide what he will buy or have bought. it is said that in the 60s Americans' breakfast was milk and cereals, between feuds to sugar them as much as possible and "Uncle Sam" style TV commercials we reach the real goal: copying. I don't mean that copying another company's snack corresponds to winning positioning on the shelves or jingling on the radio but about how the work behind the concept of how tastes and medium-long term scenarios make a product a success that still continues Today. every marketer should see it, laugh about it a bit and understand how sugar is transformed into business.

Why I spent £50 on a water bottle (don’t tell my husband!) 🤐 Channelling my inner 22 year old I had to see what the hype was about. Hot pink was sold out - so grey it is… This water bottle has a plethora of downsides: It leaks if you turn it upside down It’s clumsy to hold and heavy to lift People make fun of me BUT it keeps my water ICE COLD, holds a ridiculous amount of water and it’s a great marketing tool. It breaks the ice at the coffee point at work It’s started conversations in the gym It has kept me top of mind - I'm constantly sent reels & memes! Not only does this cup make me drink more water, it’s a conversation starter and has helped me to generate new leads. £50 well spent! So if you’re struggling to drink enough water, buy yourself an overpriced, oversized water bottle because you’ll be more hydrated but you’ll also make more friends! 😂 😎 Would you spend £50 on a water bottle? #health #hydration #wellbeing #marketing

Or am I trying to get an emotional responce? ➡️ Just mad? ➡️ Funny? ➡️ Weird? ❓️And what has the mental image of me dressed in pink have to do with Penrhos Spirits? 💡Answer: Because we make quick decisions when we buy with emotion and it helps us survive. 1️⃣ My friend bought that bottle and lived to tell the tale. It is safe. 2️⃣ That brand captures Carbon. I feel good about myself. 3️⃣ This brand is funny. Makes me happier. Challenge for Penrhos is to discover the emotion that works for us. Could it be: 💡Nature and the farm? 💡Our bottle? 💡Using waste?
