We Are Born With An Innate Capacity, An Inner Wisdom To Triumph Over Traumatic Experiences In the realm of trauma recovery, the journey from surviving to thriving can often feel like an uphill battle, fraught with challenges and setbacks. For far too long, the predominant approach to healing trauma has centered around talk therapy alone—an individualistic endeavor that fails to fully acknowledge the profound impact of trauma on the brain, body, nervous system, mind, and spirit. But what if there was another way? What if we could tap into the innate wisdom of our bodies and rediscover the power of embodied connection as a gateway to healing? Contemporary research on trauma informs us that it doesn’t have to be this way. Instead of attempting to dig our way out of trauma solely through the confines of individual talk therapy, we are invited to explore a more holistic and embodied approach—one that honors the interconnectedness of our physical, emotional, and spiritual selves. Thank you Anna for your words after our recent FAMILY & SYSTEMIC CONSTELLATIONS WORKHOP and to hear how this work has contributed to you. Do you want to feel at peace with your past, and energised in your future? Family & Systemic Constellations can help. Family Constellations is a ground-breaking methodology for healing trauma and allowing us to have insights into our current challenges, be they personal, family or professional. We can see a new persective by being opened to a much bigger picture. A picture which includes seeing our family as they are, no better or worse, our early childhood experiences and the circumstances that influence us and the impact of our parents’ and ancestors lives too. We can explore deep into the root causes of our behaviours and gain new insights and perspectives which can shift long held patterns. This unique approach may be supported by talking therapies but does not replace counselling, it offers a unique lens and the possibility of significant shifts where none may have felt possible before. There is an energy which connects us to each other, and everyone to everyone else, we call this the Field. Using the lens of the Field, a Facilitator can see the connections, where energy is stuck or misplaced and work on restoring harmony, balance and order to your energy and this of course, affects you and your family in positive ways too. I look forward to seeing you #ancestralhealing #systemicconstellations #familyconstellationssheffie

‘Trauma comes back as a reaction, not a memory.’ - Bessel van der Kolk 🧠 This powerful quote reminds us that the effects of trauma are often deeply embedded within our reactions and behaviors, not just our memories. Understanding this can be crucial for healing, as it shifts the focus from what happened to how we react to triggers in the present. By recognizing these reactions, we can begin to work through them with therapy and self-care, allowing for true emotional healing. Let's honor our journeys and seek the help we need to thrive. #mentalhealthadvocate #mentalhealth #mentalhealthcommunity #traumainformed #mentalhealththerapist

"That was then; this is now." 💭 Did you know your body holds onto memories of trauma, even from before you could speak? These patterns often shape how we respond to stress, relationships, and challenges today. But here’s the good news: Healing is possible. The quest to belong is part of the ever-evolutionary human journey. The thing about trauma, is that is causes us to feel a sense of unbelonging. As it perpetuates, it causes us to create dynamics and systems where that sense of unbelonging revervates back to us and far beyond us. This is the world we find ourselves in today… a traumatized one. The growing call for belonging and inclusivity is an early stage of collective trauma healing. But it is a stage only. As with all healing and transformative processes, it’s easy to get stuck in a stage that becomes stagnant and recreates the core problem (in this case, it’s unbelonging) in a new and more complec way. Healing asks us to keep remembering our core wounds and ask ourselves: ‘Is the way we are trying to repair or remedy our wounds, healing or harming?’ Healing asks us to move into uncharted waters and keep course-correcting. This requires receptivity, responsiveness and fluidity. Healing is a series of mindful pivots. ❓What do you think? #healing #culturetransformation #traumainformed #socialchange #pivot #diversityequityinclusion 📸 From ‘Endemic World’ I wrote this ebook at the beginning of Covid. The sentiments remain relevant today. Download and read for free. Link in comments,

🌿 Did You Know You Can Heal Trauma Without Reliving the Past? 🌿 For years, I struggled with traditional therapy because, while my mind wanted to move forward, my body kept reliving the trauma. It felt like I was stuck, even when nothing was happening around me. Does that sound familiar? 🤔 It wasn’t until I experienced a shift in my mindset—through faith, community, and learning to really listen to my body—that I found a new way to heal. My body became my communicator, showing me where the pain was rooted, where I needed to sit with it, acknowledge it, and finally begin to release it. 🌱 💡 The stories we tell ourselves about the past can keep us trapped, but here’s the truth: you don’t have to relive those painful memories to heal from them. There are tools and techniques that help you release trauma without diving back into the past. I’m living proof that healing is possible, and you can find peace without reopening old wounds. 💖 ✨ Have you experienced something similar? Drop a comment below—I’d love to hear your story and share what’s worked for you on your healing journey. We are in this together. 🤝 #AwakenYourLionessSpirit #TraumaRecovery #HealingIsPossible #ListenToYourBody #MindBodyConnection #TraumaHealing #WomenSupportingWomen

“The primary trauma, the one that preceded any other trauma, is that we lost the connection to ourselves.” - Dr. Gabor Maté Psychedelic journeys, as well as other non-psychedelic transformative experiences like workshops and retreats, often help us re-connect to ourselves. This is #healing. To reconnect to ourselves. The most challenging thing in #integration, I believe, is coming back to “real life” and getting disconnected once again. Life keeps lifeying, and we forget who we are. So, in a sentence, the purpose of integration is to stay connected to ourselves. To practice being in Self for as much as we can until connection is easy to come back to. Until it becomes a practice and a part of our nervous system. It is a lifelong journey of course. Yet, would you rather not be on it? Would love to hear your views on this in the comments. 💛

If you want to know how to be a better, smarter version of you or you want to learn how to have better habits, how to make people like you- then I am sorry, that this post may not be for you 😳 “Because worthiness isn't about making yourself into a better version of you. It's about unapologetically owning who you are, in all your magnificence and all your messiness. Right here. Right now.” Each time, I am honored to be with my clients, supporting them in their healing journey- I am reminded of this magnificence and messiness of being human. How individual narratives guided by “strong judgement of HOW IT SHOULD BE” drives one emotions, behaviors and even self - worth. When we only embody a fraction of our true selves, we only experience a fraction of what we are worth!! Healing invites us 👉 to compassionately honor even the darkest flaws without the need to do the 3 C’s - criticize, chastise or condemn. 👉 to reclaim, integrate, and celebrate what's been lost so that we can embrace the complicated brilliance of who we really are.
