In an ideal world, a seller agrees to your price, pays in cash, and you head out to celebrate by taking a month off on a beach in Mexico. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case.
So how can you avoid the extra time and effort it takes a seller to apply for a loan so you can push the deal through to close?
One option is SELLER FINANCING.
This means you, as the business owner, act as the lender. While this doesn't come without risk, finding a very well-qualified buyer and negotiating favorable financing terms can make seller financing a great option. And, you can keep a closer eye on the business you built to ensure you get paid and see its progress with a new owner.
