I presented this past weekend at Marquette University for their Society of Women Engineers regional conference. I shared with them about the power of our core values (something we talk about at LeaderShape, Inc. a lot!) and what we can do to re-align ourselves to them. That feeling of being out of alignment with our values is uncomfortable and irritating, causing us to lose sleep or avoid people or tasks. I shared this slide with the group to show actions I take to get back into alignment with my values. What steps do you take? What do you do when you're feeling that incongruence to your values?

🌟 Introducing Rosie: She is our savvy Marketing Executive, masterminding our brand's success with creativity and strategy. Her leadership elevates our marketing game to new levels. Let's celebrate Rosie's impact and the power of women in shaping our company's story! 🚀💼 #iwd2024 #inspireinclusion Rosie Walker's Thoughts: Working as a young female university student in a male-dominated industry has been both exhilarating and daunting. While navigating through this environment, I've encountered challenges that pushed me out of my comfort zone. Despite moments of uncertainty, I've embraced these experiences as opportunities for personal growth. I find satisfaction in confronting uncomfortable situations head-on, knowing that each encounter contributes to my development and resilience. It's empowering to challenge stereotypes and prove my capabilities in a field where women are underrepresented. Overall, the journey has been a blend of excitement, fear, and personal fulfilment as I carve my path in this dynamic industry.
