Moving Forward Together in the Workplace When we face differences in perspectives, in the workplace it helps to refocus on our belief in leadership’s organizational vision and the clear, shared objectives that bring that vision to life. Choose to focus on what you can control, maintaining grace, courtesy, and composure in the face of differing perspectives. Listen first. Learn. Be willing to share. Be willing to understand differences. Let go of what you cannot change. Find the way forward together. Agree, plan, and execute. Leave opinions and scuttlebutt at the door. In the workplace, while we may approach challenges from different angles, get right down to finding common ground in the goals that need to be achieved—building a stronger team, creating productive work environments, and driving meaningful results that can be collectively supported and executed.
