Reminds me why I am in the mission to provide access to clean drinking water to the bottom of the pyramid, anywhere in the world. Like every story, it has a beginning. In 1978. In Kolkata, India. At that time my family shared a hand-cranked "tubewell" with five other homes as the ONLY source of water, for any and every need. In 1978 there was a devastating flood and the whole neighborhood was submerged in knee - and at places waist - deep water. All the sludge and muck from open sewers would float around too. That happened during every flood, but 1978 was the most severe in my memory. The area around the tubewell was submerged too. There was a four-finger gap - fingers placed horizontally - between the top of the flood water (with all the muck, sewage and what not) and the mouth of the tubewell. I remember thinking, even at that very young age, that something was not right. Maybe we were not supposed to drink that water. But we did - that was the only source. We survived, somehow. Seared with that memory, I always knew that I would - someday - devote myself to imagining, creating, and championing a market-driven decentralized solution to problems of access to clean drinking water for the masses. I have been devoted to that for the last five years. It has not been easy. But we are on a mission possible. The imagery of this ad is real. Anybody who feels it, lives through it, and survives it, they remember it and experience it like an everyday happening. It is time we all do something about it. P.S. My monologue is not about Hindustan Lever or their products. It is about being instinctively sparing in use of water for any and all 'needs' beyond drinking it. Arthur R. The greatest invention of #money that could be used to buy any desire of a human that has greater influence of addiction in the form of wealth accumulation in this short life ,that yet cannot be carried with us in our graves too could be the greatest mistake or ease of convenience. This is the present mad race even by presidents of countries who have landed into business rather than use government for governing people's happiness and welfare in equity. The technology, the research that's used for the cure of people are now used against the same very race for destruction all because of this stupid GDP, market share, Gold reserves, Armaments, wars, all for only one reason is #money Just #contemplate!

As we push forward with technological advancements and material gains, we seem to drift further from the natural harmony that other living species still maintain. While we complicate life with conflicts, processed living, and endless distractions, nature offers us simple beauty and balance that we often overlook.   Self-destruction seems to be the karma we’ve earned by how we've treated our planet and the living species that rely on it.   Top 5 violations of mankind:   1.     Climate change. Global temperatures rose 0.18°C per decade, and CO2 levels hit 420 ppm in 2023, the highest in 3 million years. 2.     Mass meat production. Over 70 billion animals are slaughtered annually, with factory farming causing 14.5% of global emissions. 3.     Pesticides and chemicals. 4.1 million tons of pesticides are used yearly, affecting 385 million people globally with related poisonings. 4.     Deforestation. The world lost 47 million hectares of forest in the past 10 years, with Amazon deforestation increasing by 22% in 2021. 5.     Pollution. 8 million tons of plastic waste enter the oceans yearly, and air pollution causes 4.2 million deaths annually.   My guess is that the animal kingdom hopes humanity wakes up before it’s too late. The world has a power base made by the western countries which tries to loot the mineral of the poor. They bomb the country , kill the innocent and put in their people to run the government. The country then is forced to take Loan from IMF who dictates those terms which the west wants and the country is forced to adopt policies where the people suffer. The elites of the country which are less then 1% are getting the best the as they are listening to their master and 99% suffer. Look around and you will see this happening in most of the third world countries where they have natural resources. The rich country is one strong block consisting of 10% of the population and 90% population from poor countries suffer. Where is the human rights, justice and empathy. The world is worse then the jungle and powerful rules and the weak suffer. All of us are watching.

Sea and Me !! Of course it's me time. Lots and lots of thoughts were running into my mind by looking at the sea. Suddenly, I started to notice the waves in the sea and started to sync it with my thoughts. Here's what I observe; Sea is like a big, vast ocean, and a human's thoughts like little drops of water. The sea has lots and lots of drops of water, just like a human has lots and lots of thoughts. Sometimes the sea is calm, just like when our minds are peaceful and quiet. Other times, the sea can be stormy and rough, just like when our thoughts are all over the place. But no matter what, both the sea and our thoughts are always moving and changing, just like waves in the sea and the ups and downs of our feelings and ideas. #thoughts #comparision #nature
