As one of the club's main sponsors, we contributed £4,141.04 in kind community donation to extend the outdoor seating area. This enhancement supports weekly park runs, Andy's Man Club meetings, and monthly car boot sales, ensuring the club can thrive. We’re thrilled to partner with the charity Love of the Game for the third consecutive year for an event in October alongside Holland & Holland, championing concussion awareness in sports. We recently spoke with Simon Shaw, president of the charity and former rugby player, about their incredible work. The winner of the Rising Star Award goes to… 🏆 Bailey Collinge, Bailey James Racing Bailey is truly a force to be reckoned with! The judges love his enthusiasm for fundraising, his confidence and his energy. His dedication is admirable, juggling his schoolwork, racing and everyday life. Bailey recently finished 8th in F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo’s DRS45 National UK Karting series but still found time to bake cakes and brownies for his ‘Bailey Bakes’ events. A special mention to his parents Kristy Collinge and Simon, for supporting Bailey in his fundraising and for their ongoing commitment to supporting Pendleside. Fiona Redmond was also highly commended within this category, for showing great leadership, often pushing herself out of her comfort zone to raise much needed funds for the Hospice! 🤩 Well done!
