Don't dig yourself into trouble! April is Safe Digging Month! Every ground disturbance activity carries the risk of hitting underground utilities, which jeopardizes the safety of workers and the public. Do your part to reduce the risks! Always call (or click) BC 1 Call before you dig, hand expose utilities prior to using mechanized devices (confirms depth and location), and dig with caution. #safety #grounddisturbance #DigSafe

#throwback to when team Inspec upgraded the visibility of this heavy machinery 👀 A year later, we’re keen to share our #inspecinsights on this project… Why improve visibility? 🚨 Safety – reduces the risk of collisions and ensures workers can easily spot equipment. 🚨 Environment – mine sites often have low visibility due to dust, fog, or rain. 🚨 Collisions – incidents involving machinery can lead to costly damage and downtime. How we improved visibility: ✅ Hazard yellow blast and paint completed ✅ Reflective conspicuity markings added ✅ Earthtrack Group lights installed We’re all about safety, so working on safety-focused projects like this one is second nature! Enquire about visibility improvements, or anything else your equipment may need via our website > https://lnkd.in/ex2uaZ3 #hivisheavymachinery #minesitesafety #hivisequipment #inspecinsight #miningmachinery #safetyalways

Is there a limit to the size of a ticket that I can submit to CBYD? As a best practice: Yes. CBYD has established a business rule which limits the size of a single ticket's work area to 2500 feet. This keeps the mark out area feasible for utility companies and is a reasonable size for excavation work to be completed in the 30-day life of the ticket. Staying within these limits helps all stakeholders to work together to prevent damages. #DamagePrevention #ExcavationSafety #DigSafe
