Speaking for myself here: - Influencer marketing is becoming more and more akin to a media buy. - Standardizing rate methodology helps our customers achieve scale. - Standardizing projected outcome vs. what you're paying helps our customers run their budgets more efficiently and transparently. Will this evolve? Definitely. It's not hard to get viewership and engagement data from influencers. When we search for new influencers, these two factors are the most important to us: 1. Relevance of Influencer's title/profession and their content to our product 2. Number of views on their past few videos Sure, we look at many other factors however these two are a deal maker or breaker as far as we're concerned. Number of followers, on the other hand, will not be the deciding factor for us although it an indicator to help us classify our influencers.
