Looking back on the Thanksgiving holiday and thinking about the many things I am grateful for, I came across a quote that was too timely to not to be shared: "Leadership is not about titles, positions, or flowcharts. It is about one life influencing another." - John C. Maxwell. During my career, I've had the incredible privilege of working with diverse teams and witnessing the profound impact each member can have. It's not just the leaders or those in high-profile positions who make a difference; every single individual, regardless of their title, has the power to influence and shape the organization. Whether it's the admission staff at Wild Wadi Waterpark who ensured every guest had an unforgettable experience, the lifeguards at Aquaventure Waterpark, Great Wolf Lodge, City of Kissimmee, and Charlotte Mecklenburg County who prioritized safety above all, or the teams at the City of Box Elder who prioritized service and the needs of the citizens...each person's contribution is a vital thread in the tapestry of our collective success. I want to express my deepest gratitude to all those who have impacted our teams (and me) in both small and large ways. It's the smile from a guest service representative, the innovative solution from a team member, the "warm welcome" and "fond farewell" of frontline staff, or the extra effort put in by someone to ensure a project's success. These actions, though sometimes unseen, are the difference makers! Thanksgiving does not have to be gratitude for just ONE day. Instead, we can carry this spirit of gratitude and appreciation into the coming year. Let's recognize and celebrate the influence each of us has on one another. Because in the end, it's not about titles or positions; it's about how we choose to impact the lives around us. Here's to continuing to make a positive impact...one life at a time.

Embracing the Spirit of Easter in the Company Culture 🌷✨ As many across the world celebrated Easter yesterday, I'm reminded of the timeless values and traditions that define this special holiday. Just as Easter symbolizes rebirth, renewal, and hope, our company culture embodies similar principles that guide us forward every day. 🌟 Resilience: Like the story of Easter, which reflects the resilience and triumph over adversity, our team exemplifies resilience in the face of challenges. We tackle obstacles head-on, learn from setbacks, and emerge stronger than ever. 🤝 Community: Easter brings families and communities together, fostering bonds of love and support. Similarly, our company values the power of teamwork and collaboration. We believe in lifting each other up and celebrating our collective achievements. 🌱 Growth: Just as Easter represents new beginnings, our company embraces a culture of continuous growth and improvement. We encourage learning, innovation, and the pursuit of excellence in everything we do. 🎉 Celebration: Easter is a time of joyous celebration, marked by feasting and festivities. In our workplace, we believe in celebrating milestones and achievements. Together, we create a culture of positivity and appreciation. As we enjoy the blessings of Easter, let's also reflect on how these timeless values enrich our company culture and propel us towards a brighter future. #Teamspirit #Easter #CompanyCulture #WorkplaceCulture #Gratitude

A Holiday Message About Appreciation As we reflect on this season, we are reminded of a classic holiday story: the tale of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. At first, Rudolph's glowing nose set him apart and it was not always celebrated. But when a foggy Christmas Eve threatened to halt Santa's journey, it was Rudolph's unique talent that saved the day, guiding the sleigh and ensuring joy reached every corner of the world. This story is a reminder of the importance of recognising and valuing each team member's individuality and contributions. Just like Rudolph, each employee brings something unique to the table- whether they lead the way, support from behind the scenes, or go above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly. At Brownie Points we are proud to help organisations celebrate the exceptional qualities of every team member through tailored rewards and recognition programs. When your team feels recognised and appreciated, their engagement and productivity shine even brighter. We encourage you to take a moment to celebrate and elevate your team. Their efforts, big and small, make your success possible. And you make a difference here every day, and for that, we remain grateful. Wishing you a holiday season filled with warmth, wonder and the magic of the season and a New Year filled with growth, purpose & positivity.
