A new analysis by EdChoice’s Fiscal Research & Education Center (FREC) reveals that school choice programs save taxpayers between $20 billion and $45 billion, equating to substantial savings per student. Contrary to concerns, these programs don’t drain resources from public schools; instead, they deliver quality education at a lower cost, using less than half the funding of traditional public schools.
