7 AM. One rented truck. Me + two movers. A studio apartment in Williamsburg. 6 years ago was my first move as ZeroMax's founder. I checked everything three times. Called the customer four times. Arrived an hour early. Pretty sure I was more nervous than they were 😅 1000s of moves later, some things haven't changed: 1. I still get butterflies before big relocations 2. Still treat each customer with care 3. Still high-five the team after a perfect move 4. Still obsessed over the details But now those nerves? How two co-founders defied the odds and opened Bristol's first zero-waste shop in just six weeks in 2018. Bearing in mind the industry average to open is circa 4 months. Even more impressive taking into account Stacey Fordham broke her pelvis after falling from the ceiling during their refurb. This didn't push back their ambitious plans. They took Facebook's concept of move fast and break things to a whole new level. Today the business ownership has changed but the business is still going strong.
