This past week I had the privilege of participating in an amazing week-long work experience opportunity at Azzurri Group. From day one we were greeted with a warm welcome, an introduction and an itinerary for the week, which was packed with insightful sessions across different departments, fun activities such as pizza-making and team-building exercises and valuable networking opportunities. Together with my 6 other peers, I got to see the real day-to-day office experience. We were offered plenty of support and guidance from Johanna Keith, Deniz Kotan and many other team members in the office. As someone with a strong interest in Marketing, I was thrilled that the Azzurri Group team made sure I spoke to multiple professionals in the Marketing department, giving me valuable insights into the industry, various roles and plenty of advice regarding my own career journey. The generosity of the Azzurri Group team extended to providing lunch, drinks all day, and a couple of surprises along the way, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I am so grateful to everyone at Azzurri Group for their guidance and support. For anyone looking to gain some hands-on experience, I highly recommend looking into what Azzurri Group has to offer. I am looking forward to keeping in touch with all the amazing people I have met and applying all the knowledge I’ve gained as I move forward in my career.
