Long list of OpenStack Caracal enhancements include Live Migration support for NVIDIA virtual GPU applications (dual-mode vGPU support was introduced in Bobcat). Availability of robust open source cloud infrastructure frameworks for hosting open source models and adjuncts (e.g., vector DBs, etc.) that includes features for enhancing utilization of expensive GPUs will likely accelerate buildout of cost-effective enterprise AI applications.
