Here are some unique networking tips: Offer Help First: Approach with, “How can I help you?” rather than focusing on what you need. Host Micro-Events: Organize small, casual meetups or virtual hangouts with like-minded professionals. Create Content Together: Collaborate on a blog post, podcast, or webinar with someone you admire. Be a Connector: Introduce people in your network who could benefit from knowing each other. Share Industry Insights: Send useful articles or trends to contacts without expecting anything in return. Follow-up with Voice Notes: Instead of the usual text or email, send a personalized voice note.

Networking transcends mere contact collection; it's akin to nurturing relationships. 🌱 Within this intricate dance of connectivity, a podcast interview can magnify your narrative, while a press release sets the tempo for your reputation's unfolding tune. Together, they orchestrate a symphonic blend that reverberates beyond initial meetings, morphing strangers into partners and unlocking doors to extraordinary business synergy. 🎺💼 #BuildingBridges #BusinessGrowth

Found an incredible way to source leads and make intros for pre-seed/seed founders. PodScan - https://lnkd.in/gT3CrpWC I can create alerts for keywords, titles, and competitor mentions on any podcast. It sends me a daily report with mentions that I sort through. When I identify something relevant, I email the guests and offer intros to founders in our portfolio. Other uses: - GTM data - competitor analysis - podcast sponsorship opportunities - trend analysis

It's the million-dollar question that splits crowds faster than a controversial meme. Some swear by networking as the golden key to success, while others question if it's just a lot of time and effort with little return. What does excellence look like to you? This was one of the questions I got to discuss on The Sourcing Hero podcast, with host Kelly Barner. When we think about what excellence looks like, especially on a podcast about heroism, it might be reasonable to assume that it involves feats of superhuman strength, altruistic triumph, and being 100% on point 110% of the time. But not in my view. Excellence for me is doing just that much better than the competition - and your own past performance - consistently over the long term. Consistently being the key word here! In this interview, we talk about this idea of excellence and why it is actually much more attainable than many of us think: ➡️ The importance of investing in ourselves as professionals and creators and what that looks like in practice ➡️ Why having an active network is an essential part of individual success ➡️ Ways customer expectations of all kinds continue to evolve, and how procurement can continue to meet them Tune in and listen here 👉 https://hubs.li/Q02HM-Xy0 PS I'd love to get your views on what excellence means to you! Need ideas on how to set yourself apart from your competitors and create something your rivals have never thought of (yet) on social media? I have one for you. 💡 Consider your company's personality. ✔️ Read your founder's blog posts. ✔️ Listen to a few podcast appearances. ✔️ Watch recorded presentations. ✔️ Skim pitch decks. ✔️ Re-inspire yourself with how your co-founders talk about the organization and the challenges they're attempting to solve. This exercise can help re-organize your brain and fuel it with new ideas... filling your feed with even more creativity than before. What do you do to stand out from the competition? Feel free to discuss in the comments. #CompetitiveEdge #SocialMediaMarketing

When you choose a target market, you are joining a community. What a powerful concept, paraphrased from Dennis Yu on Mark Schaefer's Marketing Companion podcast. Don't take your decision about whom you will serve lightly. It should change the trajectory of your business. If it doesn't, you're doing it wrong. In the video, I share how your commitment to your target market should show up inside and outside your company.
