Anyone who has a fleet of vehicles, knows the feeling you get when photos like these arrive from the team. This morning's after-breakfast surprise for the guys staying at an ibis, ibis Styles, ibis budget hotel on the M40 last night. Absolutely fuming. 😡 This happened despite having high security locks and the vehicle being alarmed. Luckily our team are diligent and organised so all the tools were secured away on site, with no disruption to work for our customer. Work commenced as normal but we now have a large bodywork bill to deal with. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!

Here’s what working on a yacht for 3 years taught our co-founder about teamwork: Imagine your ultimate KPI is: Providing 5-star service to a group of guests who have paid a huge sum of money to charter a luxury yacht. Seems doable, right? But here’s the catch. You have to do it while: 1️⃣ Running on minimal sleep. 2️⃣ Having no days off for weeks at a time. 3️⃣ Working and living with crew members who you only just met. That’s a lot of pressure. To deliver that calibre of service, a high-performing team is a critical ingredient. And the teams that finish the season with heavy pockets and strong bonds are the ones that understand this. Teams that thrive under pressure know that: ✅ Communication is key. That’s why every crew member MUST keep their radio on them and switched on at all times. ✅ Role clarity & variety boosts motivation. When everyone knows what they need to do and they get to mix things up now & then, it keeps energy & enthusiasm up. ✅ Proactive support keeps things running smoothly. Reaching the point where nobody has to beg for help is the ultimate sign of a high-functioning, high-performing team. In the corporate world, the same rules apply. And when they’re followed, it doesn’t just mean greater success in outcomes. It’s connected to harmonious relationships and a healthy environment that people want to belong to. Do you think so too? 💭

We have a cat in our office and his name Tabbu. Having him around has helped us a lot as a team. All TATA offices allow stray animals to live and take shelter in the premises. Sharing some of the benefits i have experienced personally of having a pet in office. 1.Pets help release oxytocin, reducing cortisol levels and mitigating team conflicts. 2. Animals act as a bonding factor, encouraging team members to cuddle and interact. 3. Team members stay in a good mood, choosing love over negative emotions. 4. Pets increase workplace enthusiasm and motivation, driving productivity and growth. 5. Happy employees lead to happy customers. When are you getting a pet in your office?

What is scarier than the Team ringtone? A work hoarder. Be on the lookout for a work hoarder. Characteristics of work hoarders: 1. Accumulate and collect knowledge on specific topics to become the main point of contact 2. Does not delegate or share knowledge with other 3. Eventually becomes a blocker and focuses more on hoarding work than completing work. 4. Hoarders are opposed to changes to ways of working that would take control away from them. Motivations for work hoarders include fear of failure, fear of not being critical, and fear of not being in control. The cure for work hoarding is Delegation. Happy Halloween!!

You wake up. The aroma of coffee fills the room. Your work boots wait by the door. The morning sun gleams on your hard hat. Every site is a new world. Uncharted territory. A mystery waiting to be solved. A story waiting to be told. On-site work is not a job. It's a journey. A journey of discovery where every stone turned reveals a new challenge. A journey where every measurement taken, every budget calculated, is a step towards creating something extraordinary. The thrill of the unexpected. The satisfaction of a problem solved. The camaraderie of your team. These are the things you don't get in a cubicle. Work on-site is raw. It's real. It's not for the faint-hearted. It's for the ones who love a good challenge. For the ones who are not afraid to get their hands dirty. For the ones who want to leave a mark on the world. Embrace the challenge. Love the journey. Love working on-site.

Laughter is great for team morale. It's often a sign of high trust among coworkers, and it signals a psychologically safe work environment. Teams that laugh together may even perform better than their serious counterparts. #Fridayvives #Laughter #Team #Coworkers #Audiovisual #Rentals #Event #TorontoAV #Toronto
