Avant Money’s Post

Avant Money’s Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) Group teamed up with Carrick-on-Shannon Tidy Towns committee on their Ash Tree Project. This is a conservation project designed to create a space where ash tree seeds can be germinated so that they can be planted into hedgerows to replace the large number of ash trees locally impacted by ash dieback disease, an invasive fungal pathogen, Hymenoscyphus fraxineus. David Caslin, Head of Compliance, Risk and Legal, and ESG said: “At Avant Money, sustainability is at the heart of our ESG strategy as we seek to protect the environment, biodiversity, and the local landscape. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with Tidy Towns on this important conservation initiative to try and repopulate ash trees that are affected by ash dieback so that future generations get to experience their beauty.” #Sustainability #TeamWork #TidyTowns #AvantMoney
