Hey everyone, it's Maverick the data lawyer here and I am in Brussels, Belgium for the IAP Europe Data Protection Congress. It is the largest gathering of European privacy professionals all over the EU and I'm really excited to be here and get a lot of insights on just what's happening on the EU market. It is very cold here in the EU. Sorry, it is very cold here in Brussels. But we got up, we got got our pancakes in and waffles in and now we are headed to the first opening general session. Now top of mind for everyone here is going to be the EU AI Act and for me as well. So I'm going to be attending as many sessions as I can to learn about what's going on with the UI. How do we operationalize it? What are people fearing? What are? Of thinking about I'll probably get try to attend as many sessions as I can on it, but I don't want to neglect the fact that the EU is very, very active when it comes to that, not just when it comes to policy around digital governance.
