That is a powerful statement.. and rightfully so!
Apple announced their new Homomorphic Encryption (HE) library for #Swift, enabling developers to run basic calculations and queries on encrypted data. This is great news for developers building apps that need to protect sensitive data. Roseman Labs, Intel Ignite Europe batch 6 alumni, can take it further, with their #MultiPartyComputation technology that offers a more comprehensive solution for encrypted computing. Exclusive with Red Hat CEO Matt Hicks 🤩 #theCUBE is live at #RHSummit theCUBE.net Join Rob Strechay and Rebecca M. Knight in a post-keynote sit down with the head of Red Hat. “Red Hat is at its best when we’re focused on building blocks. I started Red Hat 18-plus years ago and our building block was #Linux. It was consumable for enterprises, light on hardware, worked with the OEMs and put in the hands of developers and people,” Hicks recalls, going on to note the similarities between Red Hat’s early days and the new opportunities presented by #GenAI. “The machines are a bit different, but it’s the exact same playbook. How do you take all this excitement and innovation, make it consumable to enterprises, then work with both the technology providers like NVIDIA and Intel Corporation, and the OEMs… that users can start to work with?” Hicks furthers. “I love every second of it, because it just feels like we’re back to our sweet spot.” 📺 Join the conversations! Live now, at theCUBE.net #LiveNews #OpenSource #EnterpriseTech

I recently had the pleasure of connecting with Dave W. Plummer on social media, and I must say, his expertise in the field of computing is truly impressive. Known for his deep technical insights, Dave recently shared a fascinating project where he transformed the venerable PDP-11/73 into what he describes as "the ultimate single-core workstation." He detailed his process of enhancing this classic system by adding ethernet, disk controllers, RAM, floppy, serial, and more, ultimately booting UNIX to run iconic games like Zork and Wargames. His ability to explain complex computer concepts in a clear and engaging manner has been invaluable to me. It's not every day you come across someone with such profound knowledge and the generosity to share it. I am deeply honored to learn from him. If you're interested in delving into the depths of computer history and technology, I highly recommend checking out his work. For the full video, please visit: Dave W. Plummer's X post ㆐ https://lnkd.in/ddgCjqsh 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁: Dave W. Plummer for his insightful technical work and sharing his project.
