Bilbao, Spain based Acurio Ventures recently successfully final closed Acurio Ventures III 💸 €150M with LP backing from a US university endowment, insurance companies, pension plans, large corporates, 35 family offices and a handful of technology entrepreneurs and executives. 💡 Investments in early-stage European start-ups (mainly #SeedStage and #SeriesA) with a generalist sector approach, with the firm continuing to act primarily as a co-investor. COVID attracted more generalist investors to the supply chain and logistics industry, and while many of those investors have left the space, experienced investors continue to back promising startups.
