Kicking Goals for iiNet—Virtually and Emotionally 🏉💡 Back when I was leading the creative team at tkm9, we had the incredible opportunity to create an activation that would turn a dream into reality for thousands of Hawthorn Football Club fans. On the night of a big game, we gave supporters the chance to kick a virtual goal on the legendary Melbourne Cricket Ground before they even entered the stadium. With the iiNet Live Your Dream activation, we used projection mapping to transform the outer walls of the MCG. Fans lined up outside, kicked a virtual football, and watched as it soared through the iconic goalposts. It wasn’t just about the tech—it was about emotion. We tapped into the deep passion fans have for their team, creating a moment that resonated long after the game ended. This activation perfectly captures my creative philosophy as I lead a different team at Watch This Space: Capture their attention, capture their heart, and you’ll capture their loyalty. By engaging fans at an emotional level, we turned what could have been a simple pre-game activity into a cherished memory. It’s a reminder that the most impactful activations are those that connect with people’s dreams and passions.
