One question we always get asked is what makes a top biller? Here are four things that we see day in, day out that separate the top performing recruiters from the rest. Resilience. Recruitment is full of constant setbacks. Candidate Noel shows clients pulling roles at final stage. Clients rejecting your candidates at final stage. The top performing recruiters don't let it affect them. They dust themselves down, move on to the next one and learn from the experience. Ability to influence recruitment. As a sales job, you selling your candidates to clients, you're selling your clients, you candidates. The best recruiters are able to subtly influence at all stages of the process in order to affect the outcome in a positive way. Dr. Recruitment is hard. Anyone who's worked in recruitment will attest to that. But the top performing recruiters have a strong wife. But that could be money that could be wanting to prove a point, make someone proud. I'll just be known as the best. But the top recruiters have that strong why? That gets them out of bed in the morning and encourages them to go the extra mile. And things that's offering recruitment and ultimately go on to be a top performer's ability to learn. Anyone who's worked in recruitment will know there are certain nuances to recruitment. How to ask questions, when to ask questions, what questions to ask. You also need to understand your market to build credibility with clients and candidates alike.
