Engine overhaul due to lots of smoke and loss of power. As seen in the exhaust manifold, engine oil was being burnt, and leakage of oil in the timing cover parts of the engine. It's very important to conduct the service of your car/equipment when the service hours/kilometers have reached with the right quality oil for longer lasting and avoiding unnecessary repair costs like this one. One more thing: keep your car/equipment clean. Just check on how dirty this engine is, though it's our work as maintenance specialists to conduct clean, safe, and excellent maintenance work. This kind of car handling shows what kind of a person you are with no goals, love, and purpose for life and your belongings. Let the new year change you to a better person. Happy holidays 🎉. #cars #safety #engines #mechanics #technicians #operators #maintenance

Mamma Mia!!! that is one massive spring on this original Westinghouse safety 😮 Did you know 🤓 Car safety devices (safeties) are identified and classified on the basis of performance characteristics after the safety begins to apply pressure on the guide rails. On this basis, there are three types of safeties. 2.17.5.1 Type A Safeties Type A safeties develop a rapidly increasing pressure on the guide rails during the stopping interval; the stopping distance is very short due to the inherent design of the safety. The operating force is derived entirely from the mass and the motion of the car or the counterweight being stopped. These safeties apply pressure on the guide rails through eccentrics, rollers, or similar devices, without any flexible medium purposely introduced to limit the retarding force and increase the stopping distance. 2.17.5.2 Type B Safeties Type B safeties apply limited pressure on the guide rails during the stopping interval and provide stopping distances that are related to the mass being stopped and the speed at which application of the safety is initiated. Retarding forces are reasonably uniform after the safety is fully applied. Safeties that require or do not require continuous tension in the governor rope to operate the safety during the entire stopping interval shall be permitted. Minimum and maximum distances are specified on the basis of governor tripping speed. 2.17.5.3 Type C Safeties (Type A With Oil Buffers) Type C safeties develop retarding forces during the compression stroke of one or more oil buffers interposed between the lower members of the car frame and a governor-operated Type A auxiliary safety plank applied on the guide rails. The stopping distance is equal to the effective stroke of the buffers. Well now you do 😃 The more we know the more we grow 🤓 #yourelevatorpal #elevators #skilledtrades #machinery #equipment #education #knowledge

As an experienced truck driver, you likely know the importance of maintaining your rig on the road. While you can handle basic tasks like checking tire pressure, topping off fluids, or inspecting lights, don’t overlook the importance of regular visits to the mechanic for more complex maintenance. 🔧 Do It Yourself: Regularly check your tires, brakes, engine oil, and air filters to catch small issues before they become big problems. Keeping an eye on these helps avoid breakdowns and ensures smoother rides. 🔧 Visit the Mechanic: For more complicated issues like engine performance, transmission problems, or electrical faults, always consult a professional mechanic. These repairs require specialized tools and expertise to ensure everything is running efficiently and safely. Stay proactive and keep your rig running like new!
