Had a wonderful visit today with CSM Brandt, the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) 1st Recruiting Brigade CSM. He was kind enough to help me out with a favor, and we talked about how the USMEPCOM surge of personnel to assist with processing has helped out. Love when the DMPM and other agencies can make a positive impact to the force! AFC’s purpose is ensuring the US Army is the best Army at any point in time in the future. We have the best Army in the world right now, and we want that statement to be as true in 2027, 2030, 2040 and beyond. Another way to say that is, AFC is accountable for transforming the Army to ensure war-winning future readiness.   We live in a dangerous world during a period of unprecedented technological change. We are competing with determined adversaries. We can’t just out-spend them. We must out-innovate them.   The character of war is changing, and technology will punish unskilled commanders and untrained units. At the same time, the inverse is also true; whoever figures it out first and best will have a huge advantage on the battlefield.   As technology continues to advance, so too must our Army. ~ JER https://lnkd.in/ga4a3mAx
