I was awarded to design a Taxi Mobile App called RideMate. Then I thought of sharing this little bit of information with my fellow aspiring UI/UX designers. I notice many of my colleagues reproducing other people's jobs; listen guys, don't get carried away by other people's designs; it's fine to respect people's work, but don't go so far as to recreate the exact design and assume you're ready for any design project that comes your way!! No, my friend. That is not how it works. Do you know that they are complex layouts that require 20-50 frame designs, if not more to create a viable platform User Experience? Okay, let's set that aside for now. Do you know that when you work for a tech firm, you are assigned to work alongside your colleagues tech team members, who include Project Managers, Frontend Developers, and Backend Developers? This squad depends on your creative ability to perform. Now keep in mind that, similar to the document in my video, your company's management team/project manager will pass you a project document for you to read, conduct research, check for competitors, add more functions, present, begin design planning (Low fidelity design), and actual design (High fidelity design), and then defend your final presentation before it is handed over to Frontend Dev. Please understand that I am not here to scare anyone, right! I am merely using this means to convey my worry. They're keeping a lot of information from you; they won't tell you anything beyond prototyping or fine design; start working on a comprehensive project and cease redesigning the same thing. I admire Janefrances Christopher (LadyF); she once stated that as a designer, you need a mentor who would guide you, test you, and provide you with the necessary knowledge to study the tech sector as a whole. If you don't have one, I employ you to do so. Will keep you guys updated on this project. Am open for Employment, Contract Work and Projects, kindly send me a DM. #uiux #ux #figma #designer #project #tech #design #techbusines

For seasoned UX/UI designers and proficient frontend developers seeking to refine their design workflows, Design Systems are your golden key 🔑 Imagine you're part of a design team tasked with creating a new mobile app for a leading e-commerce platform. As you begin the project, you realize the need for consistency across various screens and components to ensure a seamless user experience. This is where design systems come into play. Design systems are comprehensive collections of reusable components, guidelines, and assets that streamline the design and development process. They serve as a single source of truth for designers and developers, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability throughout the project lifecycle. 🔹 Design systems provide a set of standardized components and patterns, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across all digital touchpoints. They provide developers with pre-built components and clear guidelines, streamlining the implementation process, reducing development time, and minimizing the risk of inconsistencies or errors. 🔹 With a centralized design system in place, developers can easily maintain and update UI components across the application. This ensures that changes are propagated consistently, without the need for manual intervention. This alignment improves communication, reduces misunderstandings, and accelerates the development process. In conclusion, design systems are a fundamental tool for UX/UI designers and frontend developers, offering benefits such as consistency, efficiency, scalability, ease of implementation, maintainability, and collaboration. By embracing design systems, teams can create superior digital experiences that delight users and drive business success. #frontenddevelopment #designsystems #uxresearch

🌟 Exciting New Chapter! 🌟 As a product designer, I’ve always believed that understanding the full spectrum of design and development is key to creating exceptional user experiences. That’s why I’m thrilled to share that I’m embarking on a new adventure—starting an undergraduate degree in Computer Science! 📚 My goal? To deepen my knowledge in programming and to better communicate with front-end developers. I’m diving into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring that my designs are not only visually appealing but also technically feasible and optimized. 💡 The intersection of design and development is where magic happens, and I’m excited to enhance my skills to collaborate more effectively and drive innovative solutions. Here’s to new challenges, learning, and growth! #ProductDesign #ComputerScience #FrontEndDevelopment #LearningJourney #UXDesign #HTML #CSS #JavaScript

Curious about what catches a client's eye when they visit a website for the first time? Of course, the user interface (UI). A well-designed UI not only builds trust with users, but also showcases your brand's uniqueness and ensures a positive reception from your target audience. While we often associate the technical side of websites and applications with programmers and the visual aspect with designers, there's another crucial player in the process - the front-end developer. And hiring a good one can be even more challenging than coming up with a startup idea. Optimizing Applications for Speed & Performance In today's fast-paced digital world, first impressions matter BIG TIME for your frontend applications. ⚡️ A smooth, responsive user experience (UX) can make all the difference in customer engagement and brand loyalty. Here are some key strategies to optimize your frontend applications and keep users happy: 1. Minify & Optimize: Every byte counts! ⚖️ Minify your code and optimize images to ensure lightning-fast loading times. 2. Prioritize Critical Rendering Path: Get that essential content on the screen ASAP! Make users wait for fancy animations, not core functionality. 3. Leverage Caching Mechanisms: Store frequently used resources locally so users don't have to download them repeatedly. ♻️ 4. Implement Lazy Loading: Don't load everything at once! Prioritize content above the fold and load the rest as users scroll. 5. Optimize for Mobile: The majority of users browse on mobile devices. Ensure your application is responsive and delivers a seamless experience across all screen sizes. 6. Test, Test, Test! Regular testing across different browsers and devices is crucial for identifying and fixing performance bottlenecks. By implementing these optimization techniques, you can create a frontend experience that's not only beautiful but also blazing fast! What are your favorite ways to optimize frontend applications? Share your tips in the comments! #frontenddevelopment #webdev #performanceoptimization #ux #developerlife #coding #javascript #reactjs #angular #vuejs

Why I Love Frontend Engineering 💻 One of the reasons I love frontend engineering is because you can really put yourself in the shoes of the users. 👟 You get to see with your own eyes the same things the users will see and then ask, "How can we make this better?" 🔍✨ Sometimes, improving the user experience isn't about adding more features, but about removing unnecessary ones. 🧹 Strong frontend engineers have a keen eye for UX/UI and work closely with designers to create seamless experiences. 🎨🤝 #FrontendDevelopment #UX #UI #WebDevelopment
