This semester I a student in Entrepreneurial Marketing 490, a class that has allowed me to evaluate my strengths and weaknesses and provide me with an opportunity to grow and learn with hands on experience. This semester our class was divided into teams for a semester long project: make an app. I believe entrepreneurship as a whole has the ability to both bring out the absolute best and worst in anyone. Entrepreneurship is passion, innovation, and creative thinking so I had some doubts about the ability of entrepreneurship focused college students all with a thirst to prove themselves, working together. However, my team has quickly proven me wrong. Early in the semester it was apparent the compatibility our team has. There is nothing ever quite like the feeling of being within a team that respects one another, is driven, but to me the most important part was our teams ability to bounce ideas off of one another. This created an environment that was lively and allowed our team to put our best foot forward in every aspect- idea generation, business summary, marketing strategy, etc.. This class, and this team, has reminded me the importance to always insure that I myself am a good team member. To listen, to trust, to play to each members personal strengths, and most of all to collaborate. I am very proud of the work we have done so far, and I am even more excited to see the work we do moving forward.
